Join us for this fully guided tour on East County’s El Capitan Reservoir – one of the only places you can kayak on the San Diego River – for a fun and informative paddle.
Learn about the River Park Foundation’s ongoing land conservation efforts and the numerous recreational and wildlife values of this incredibly beautiful yet fragile area.
We’ll meet at the El Capitan Reservoir boat launch ramp, then launch our kayaks for a beautiful tour of the reservoir and check out some key areas of conservation interest.
Bring your camera and enthusiasm.
We make it easy for you to join us on this paddle. No experience necessary.
We provide all the kayaks and equipment plus an introductory paddling lesson.
$50 per adult includes kayak, paddle, life vest, basic instruction, lake entrance fee, and nature guide. $20 per child (2-15 years of age), sharing a kayak with an adult.
$21 discount if you bring your own kayak and paddling equipment.
